Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Fast Plates. By purchasing from us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

Fast Plates are specialist in the production of bespoke 3D/4D number plates for both road-legal use and show/display purposes. All number plates are handmade, made-to-order, and customised to your specification.

1. Legal Compliance

 

• Fast Plates supplies both DVLA-compliant number plates (for road use) and show plates (for decorative or display purposes).

• Customers are responsible for selecting the correct option when ordering.

• Road-legal plates will be manufactured to meet DVLA standards, including correct font, spacing, reflective material, and supplier markings.

• Show plates are not road-legal and must not be used on public highways.

• Fast Plates does not accepts any liability for fines, penalties, or legal actions resulting from the misuse of show plates on the road or alterations made by the customer after purchase.

2. Orders & Accuracy

• All orders are considered final once placed.

• Customers must ensure all details (registration number, spacing, style, size, and finish) are entered correctly at checkout.

• We cannot amend/ alter orders after production has started.

3. Returns, Refunds & Replacements

• All of our products are bespoke, made to order/customised hence, no returns or refunds are accepted. A replacement will only be issued if:

•  

  • Fast Plates makes a manufacturing error, OR

  • The item arrives damaged in transit.

• In such cases, the replacement will be for the same product originally ordered only. No changes, upgrades, or alternative products will be offered.

• Errors or incorrect details supplied by the customer are not eligible for a replacement or refund.

4. Warranty

• All plates come with a 12-month warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship.

• • Damage caused by drilling, misuse, or incorrect fitting.

  • General wear and tear.

  • Accidental damage or deliberate tampering.

    Warranty does not cover:

     

• Warranty will be voided if the plate is drilled or altered.

6. Delivery

• Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on order volume and courier services.

• We are not liable for delays caused by postal/courier companies.

• Risk of loss or damage during transit passes to the customer once the order is dispatched, except where damage is reported on arrival (see Section 4).

7. Limitation of Liability

• Fast Plates shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of our products.

• Our maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.

8. Privacy Policy

• Customer data will be used solely for processing orders and will never be sold or shared with third parties, except as required to fulfil delivery.

• All payment information is securely processed by Shopify’s payment gateway.

9. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
