Document Requirement and Submission

 Thank you for choosing Fast Plates. To comply with DVLA regulations, all number plate orders require valid proof of identity and entitlement before we can process your order.

Please email clear photos or scans of the following documents to:

You are required by DVLA to provide 1 document for each List below before we ship the plates

 LIST1

Documents to confirm your Identity

• A driving licence, with or without a photo (whether or not it was issued in the United Kingdom)
• A bill from an electricity, gas or water supplier, a landline phone bill, a council tax bill or rates bill in Northern Ireland (issued within the last six months

• A bank or building society statement (issued within the last six months)

• A passport (whether or not it was issued in the United Kingdom)

• A national identity card issued by the government of a state or of a territory (other than the United Kingdom)

• A debit card or credit card (issued by a bank or building society)

• A Police warrant card

• An armed forces identity card

LIST 2

Document to Confirm Entitlement to the Registration Number

• Registration Certificate (V5C)

 

• The New Keeper Slip (Green Slip)

 

• A Certificate of Entitlement (V750)

 

• A Retention Document (V778)

 

• Reminder to get vehicle tax or make a SORN (V11)

 

• Temporary Registration Certificate (V379)

 

• Number Plate Authorisation Certificate (V948) with an official stamp from (DVLA) or DVSA

 

• Electronic Number Plate Authorisation Certificate (eV948)

 

• Letter of authorisation from a fleet operator (including lease or hire company) quoting the document reference number from the V5C

 

• Record of insurer’s name, reference and policy numbers (for repairs approved by an insurance company)

 

• If your fleet is in the new V5C on demand scheme (also called ‘V5C suppression’), a PDF of the vehicle’s details from the view vehicle record service.
